field education
As a student at Washington Bible College/Capital Bible Seminary your focus is on learning the Word of God with a view toward using it to serve others. And so in addition to taking academic courses, all College and Seminary students in degree programs participate in Field Education. One Field Education credit is required for every 15 s.h. of course work and is necessary for graduation. Your Field Education credit is earned by participation in a ministry and submitting reports. This can be anything from teaching a Sunday school class to pastoring a church. The thrust of Field Education is that students be involved in actual ministry activities 2-3 hours each week. You can register on line for Field Education just like any other course. There is no tuition charge for enrolling.
Students registering for Field Education should complete the procedures listed in the Information Sheet below and use the accompanying forms.
