For Women: a special program to help you
complete your degree

Have You Wanted to Finish Your Degree?

For Women/By Women is a special application of Washington Bible College’s successful Adult Degree Completion Program designed to meet the special needs of women. The program is offered during the daytime hours when kids are in school and women often feel safer driving from their homes to campus.

The program was created by women on WBC’s leadership team who understand the unique challenges of moms and other women. The program allows women who are 25 or older and have 48 college credits to finish their degree in two to three years based on individual needs and schedules, and offers you the maximum in flexibility and sensitivity.

Classes are offered from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. once a week and are only six weeks long. The course time includes lunch so women students can encourage one another and share their lives and experiences. The program also allows for time off during the summer and general school holidays including Christmas.


Management & Ethics
Students who enter this program will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in General Studies. The courses in the Bible/Theology Core are:
  • Life of Christ/Gospels,
  • How to Study, Understand, and Apply the Bible,
  • Christian Theology,
  • the Epistle to the Romans,
  • Biblical Worldview, and
  • Foundation of Ethics: Hebrew Wisdom Literature.

The courses in the Management and Ethics Core are:

  • Goals, Priorities and Attitudes,
  • Essentials of Management,
  • Communication Concepts,
  • Cutting Issues in Management,
  • Biblical Concepts of Leadership,
  • Organizational Behavior,
  • Christian Ethics,
  • Accounting for Managers,
  • Case Studies in Leadership,
  • Marketing Concepts and Applications,
  • Economics and the Manager, and
  • Case  Studies in Ethics.
 Biblical Studies (future cohort)
Students who enter this program will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biblical Studies. The courses in the Bible/Theology Core are:
  • Old Testament Pentateuch,
  • Historical Books,
  • Poetic & Wisdom Literature, and Prophets;
  • New Testament Pauline Letters,
  • Gospel of John,
  • Romans,
  • Hebrews-Revelation;
  • Christian Ethics,
  • How to Study, Understand, and Apply the Bible,
  • Introduction to Philosophy and Christian Thought,
  • History of Christianity;
  • Doctrine of Bibliology & Theology Proper,
  • Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, Church and Future Things, and
  • Doctrine of Christ, Salvation, Humanity, & Sin, and
  • Goals, Priorities & Attitudes.
