Also, Library users should always refrain from loud conversation and improper language out of respect for fellow patrons and staff.

Check Out - Current faculty, students, staff and library card holders may check out: books, tapes, videos, and CD's. Student ID cards must be presented at the circulation desk in order to check out materials. Graduates of the college and seminary (Alumni), as well as community patrons, may purchase a Library card for $25.00 a year. For information about community library card holder guidelines please email Sue Kolodziejski, Library Manager at skolodziejski@bible.edu.

Loan Period - Thirty days (30) unless there is a faculty generated recall. It is incumbant upon the patron to return the recalled book(s) as soon as possible so that fellow students may have the opportunity to use the materials for their studies. Up to ten books may be checked out. Only five items per subject may be checked out.

Renewal - Books may be renewed just once in person or by emailing the Library Manager. Renewals may not be done over the phone.

Returns - Books should always be returned by their due date to the circulation desk or to the book drop after hours. The book drop is located outside the Library front door.

Reserve Items - We have a "Closed Reserve Policy" so Reserve books may only be used in the library for two hours at a time with a two books per person limit.

Overdue fines - 25 cents per day per item for all library materials. Fines are only assessed on the days the Library is open.

Lost Items - The full charge to the patron will include the current market price of the book(s), the fines, and a $15.00 processing fee per item.

*There are handicapped parking spaces near the main entrance to the library. A door, located in the Periodicals Room, provides access to the library. A magnifying glass is available at the circulation desk. Assistance with book and journal retrieval is also available. Please ask at the circulation desk for assistance or contact Sue Kolodziejski, Library Manager, at 240-387-1262 or by email (skolodziejski@bible.edu).
