THL 101 Bible Doctrine I (3) Fall
A survey and examination of the key areas and issues pertaining to the doctrines of Theology proper, Christology, Pneumatology, and Anthropology.

THL 102 Bible Doctrine II (3) Spring.
A survey and examination of the key areas and issues pertaining to the doctrines of Hamartiology, Soteriology, Ecclesiology, Angelology, and Eschatology.

THL 103 Bibliology (3) Fall
A study of the doctrine of inspiration and its problems, including the subjects of origin and preservation of the Scriptures-manuscripts, versions, canonicity, and related areas.

THL 104 Theology and Christology (3) Spring
The study of God, His existence and attributes, and His work in predestination, preservation, and providence. The study of Christ in His preexistence, death, incarnation, humanity, death, and atonement.

THL 201 Pneumatology and Anthropology (3) Fall
The study of the Holy Spirit, His personality and deity, is undertaken with particular attention to His indwelling, baptizing, filling, and spiritual gifts ministries in the believer. The study of man includes his origin, nature, and fall.

THL 202 Hamartiology and Soteriology (3) Spring
The study of the origin, nature, and consequences of sin. Sin’s remedy is found in salvation, which is studied under its descriptions—grace, election, redemption, propitiation, reconciliation, justification, sanctification, security, repentance, and faith.

THL 204 Apologetics (3)
This course is designed to generate confidence concerning the Christian faith through a rational defense and response to the anti-Christian objections. Attention is given to a variety of Christian evidences that support the claims of Christianity. The course covers four areas of study: Fundamental, historical, philosophical, and pragmatic apologetics.

THL 210 Contemporary Theological Issues (3) Spring
This course teaches discernment of contemporary theological issues such as the woman’s role in ministry, chain of command, charismatic theology, baptism and ordinances for youth, music styles, media choices, career choices, sexuality, and homosexual lifestyles.

THL 402 Eschatology and Revelation (3) Spring
Prerequisites:BIB 101 Bible Survey, BIB 111 PBI Epistles, and 9 hours of theology.
An exegetical and theological study of prophetic revelation, both Old and New Testaments, with special attention given to Revelation. The underlying hermeneutics of Covenant and Dispensational Theology, the Kingdom program, death, the resurrections, and the eternal destinies are given extensive consideration. Finally, the major views regarding the rapture of the Church, the Tribulation, the Second Coming of Christ, and the millennium are evaluated.
