Washington Bible College offers two Bachelor's degrees:
- Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies
- Bachelor of Arts in General Studies
The requirements for the two degrees are the same. They are distinguished on the basis of the concentration the student chooses. Those who choose to focus on Business Administration, Social Work, or Communications will receive a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies upon graduation. Those who focus on Biblical Studies, Pre-seminary, Youth Ministry, Sports Ministry, Music, Intercultural Studies, Teacher Education, Psychology/Counseling, or Interdisciplinary Studies will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies.
With the Bachelor of Arts in General Studies the student may choose one of the following concentrations:
With the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies the student may choose one of the three departments. Within the Department of Bible and Theology, concentrations are offered in:
- Bible/Theology
- Accelerated Pre-seminary
- Pastoral Ministries
Within the department of Professional Studies, concentrations are offered in:
- Psychology/Counseling (also available in an accelerated track)
- Sports Ministry
- Teacher Education (including specializations in Bible Education, Early Childhood Education, and Elementary Education)
- Youth Ministry (also available in an accelerated track)
- Interdisciplinary Studies
Within the department of General Studies, concentrations are offered in:
- Music
- Degree Completion
No matter which Bachelor's degree you choose, you will be equipped with a strong biblical foundation for your life of service and the skills you need for ministry and the marketplace. You will study every book of the Bible; theology (the study of God and His relationship with all of His creation); general education courses (designed to give you a well-rounded education); and professional courses which will prepare you for your career path.
The B.A. degree program consists of 37-50 semester hours of Bible/theology related subjects; 40 semester hours of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences; and 30-50 semester hours of professional education courses.
