OpenClass is a Google app Learning Management System (LMS) that is replacing Blackboard. The OpenClass LMS provides the platform for instructors to publish their course notes and other course documents, post announcements, discussion questions, etc., and communicate with students.
The OpenClass app can be downloaded on iPads, iPhones and Android devices. Go to your app store and search OpenClass (all one word), and you will be able to download the free application.

NOTE:
- If you have problems with your courses loading in OpenClass, it could be the browser you are using. OpenClass functions well with either Firefox or Google Chrome browsers. Both of these browsers can be downloaded free from the Internet.
- If you have Windows XP as your operating system, you will need to use either the Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.

We are committed to ensuring our students take what is learned in the classroom and implement biblically-based solutions with a view to serving others. To that end, all students must complete a Field Education/Service Learning credit for each 15 hours of credits taken at CBS. Click the icon at left to access FieldEd forms.

NOTE: On May 18th the Oyer Memorial Library on the Lanham campus will close to finalize work for moving the library to the Walker Drive campus. The library will be closed for approximately six weeks, hopefully re-opening at the new location July 1st. The library at the VA Extension will remain open until further notice, and resources will still be available online from the Lancaster Campus.
Please check this webpage periodically for updates on the libraries. We appreciate your continued patience during this time of transition.
In addition to the Oyer Memorial Library, students have access to the Charles and Gloria Jones Library at Lancaster Bible College in Pennsylvania, the Maryland Library System, and the Library of Congress.
