About the EQUIP Institute

The purpose of the EQUIP Institute is to glorify God by building up believers in their faith and by strengthening and encouraging local churches. We strive to accomplish this through the systematic teaching of God's Word (Eph. 4:11-13; 2 Tim. 2:1-2, 15; 2 Tim 3:16-17).

For nearly a century, EQUIP, the continuing education program of Washington Bible College/Capital Bible Seminary (WBC/CBS), has provided Washington D.C. metropolitan area Christians with solid biblical training designed to increase their knowledge of scriptural truths and strengthen their witness for Christ. As a cooperative undertaking between EQUIP and local churches, the program has offered scriptural enlightenment and fellowship opportunities to thousands. EQUIP continues in that tradition while looking forward to new formats and delivery systems as they become available.
