What is the Adult Degree Completion Program?
The Adult Degree Completion Program is an accelerated non-traditional program designed for adult Christians to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree. The program is convenient for busy, working adults and requires attendance in class only one night per week.
Designed to improve student’s application of Bible knowledge, the courses will provide students skill sets in communication, leadership, management, and ministry to use in the marketplace and church ministries.
Washington Bible College offers degree completion classes one night a week. This schedule is convenient for even the busiest person to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies or General Studies (with a concentration in Business Administration) – in just 23-25 months.
You’ll apply the new skills you learn here from the moment you finish your very first class. New cohorts begin frequently and include 16-18 modules. Some sample courses, depending upon your concentration include:
- Goals, Priorities, and Attitudes
- How to Study, Understand, and Apply the Bible
- Communication Concepts
- Christian Ethics
- Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, Church, and Future Things
- Essentials of Management
- New Testament: Pauline Letters
- Marketing Concepts and the Manager
- Gospels/Life of Christ
- Doctrine of Christ, Salvation, Humanity, and Sin
- Case Studies in Leadership and Ethics
- Organizational Behavior
- Biblical Worldview
Why should you consider the WBC Adult Degree Completion Program?
- Adults can complete a degree in about two years. Students, age 25 and older, who transfer a minimum of 48 credits are able to finish in approximately two years.
- Convert your life experience and prior learning into credit. After being fully accepted into Washington Bible College’s Adult Degree Completion Program, students can receive up to 30 credits for life experience through portfolio assessment and credit by demonstrated competency.
- Attend class only one night per week. Classes are scheduled at convenient times so that students with full-time responsibilities outside of school are able to participate and complete the program.
- Classes are designed to improve your ministry, leadership, and communication skills. Students in the program enjoy the practicality of the academically challenging curriculum.
- Excellent instruction is presented in a small class setting. Professional instructors offer a quality education.
